Tarkett: A French success story

Tarkett is a 130 year old French company, and a world leader in floor coverings. We produce enough artificial turf, basketball court flooring, luxury vinyl tiles, engineered wood, modular carpet tiles and specialised flooring solutions to cover 185 football fields every day.
You may not have heard of us before, so we thought we’d say ‘Bonjour!’ and share some of our story with our fellow FACC members.

  • Tarkett has 12,000 employees worldwide and sells in over 100 countries.
  • In 2015, global sales exceeded €2.7bn Euro (A$4 billion).
  • Tarkett’s origins extend back over 130 years. The founders were true entrepreneurs, innovating and expanding to take advantage of new opportunities and new markets. This spirit still guides the company today.
Sustainability
  • Tarkett has a long-term commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental protection.
  • Tarkett is committed to adopt and implement the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
